Great Start Of England In The World Cup

England showed their intentions to win the title in their first match of FIFA World Cup 2022, in the important match of Group B, the English team defeated Iran 2-6.

In this match played at the Khalifa International Stadium in Qatar, England kept the pressure on Iran from the beginning. 

Iran suffered a major shock during the match when their experienced goalkeeper Hossein Hosseini was injured after colliding with a teammate. 

The defense of Ali Biranvand, who came in his place, proved to be a wall of sand in front of the English players. 

England took a 0-3 lead at the end of the first half with goals from Jude Bellingham in the 35th minute, Bokayo Saka in the 43rd minute, and Raheem Sterling in the first-half extra time. 

Iran fought relatively better in the second half where they conceded 3 goals in this half too, but they also conceded two goals against England.

Bokaro Saka scored in the 62nd minute for England, then Mehdi Tarimi scored the first goal for Iran in the 65th minute.

Marcus Rashford scored a goal in the 71st minute of the match, followed by Jack Grealish in the 90th minute to make the score 1-6.

In the last minute of the match, Iran’s Mehdi Tarimi took advantage of a penalty stroke and scored the second goal for his team, after which the match ended 2-6
