A case has been registered against an Indian actor for abducting and harassing a woman.

According to a foreign news agency, the crime branch of the police on Sunday registered a case against local industry Malayalam actor Dilip after the confessions and audios of film director Balachandra Kumar came to light.

According to police, the actor planned to kill a police officer investigating a case of abduction and sexual harassment of a woman filed against him in 2017.

Recently, the film director revealed in a TV program that Dilip had watched a video of the harassment incident and the main accused Sunil Kumar (who works as a driver in the film industry) had a close ceremony.

Apart from this, some audio clips of Dilip also came to light, in one of which he was advising someone to wait and saying that ‘the five investigating officers are going to be harmed soon’.

In another audio, the actor allegedly said, “If these investigating officers are hit by a truck, they will manage Rs 1.5 crore.”

Regarding the case, police sources said that a preliminary investigation will be conducted after the case is registered in the light of which a decision will be taken to arrest Dilip.

However, Dilip said that he would answer all the questions in the court

It is to be noted that the case of harassment and kidnapping against actor Dilip is pending in the special court of Kochi.
