Urea crisis in the country has taken a serious turn: Bilawal Bhutto

Bilawal Bhutto has said that the urea crisis has taken a serious turn across the country.

Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while addressing the problems of farmers in the country said that Imran Khan should take the nails of conscience, the urea crisis has taken a serious turn across the country.

He said that urea was being sold in the black market for up to Rs. 3500 per sack instead of the official price of Rs. 1768 for irrigating the wheat crop. A sack of is getting up to Rs 2700 instead of the official price.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that during PPP rule Pakistan used to sell urea all over the world and today the country has to look for urea.

The PPP chairman said that the PPP would hold rallies from January 21 against the atrocities committed against the farmers across the country.

He said that Imran Khan has committed economic terrorism by destroying the agriculture sector of an agricultural country which will not be forgiven at any cost. The sack is being sold and there is no supply.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that in the time of Pakistan Peoples Party, DAP fertilizer was up to Rs. 3500 per sack. Farmers in Punjab are not getting canal water. Sales will not be possible.

The PPP chairman said that the Sindh government had fixed the subsidy price of wheat at Rs. 2200 as compared to Rs. 1950 of Punjab government. The support price should be increased.

He said that Imran Khan joined the border of Germany and Japan and one of his players made a ridiculous statement of smuggling of urea by joining the border of Sindh and Afghanistan. If nitrophosphate and DAP fertilizer are not available then there will be food crisis in the country.
